Attention Park County: Referendum 1 threatens to take away your local control by removing the Park County Growth Policy. Unless we stop it, Referendum 1 means our community is less prepared for more traffic, luxury developments and unaffordable homes. Referendum 1 is bad news for rural roads and bridges.

Are you Registered?

To vote, you have to be registered in Park County by May 6th, 2024. In addition, only people who live in unincorporated voting districts in Park County will be eligible to vote on Referendum 1.

Mail your Ballot in may

Vote by mail ballots will be mailed out May 10th. You can fill out and send your ballot back as soon as you receive it in the mail. Ballots should be in your mailbox starting the week of May 13th, and you have until 8 p.m. on June 4th to return your ballot, by mail or in person.

Vote In Person on June 4th

If you don’t vote by mail, you can still vote in person on June 4th starting at 7 a.m.. Polls close at 8 p.m.

Referendum 1 recklessly scraps the park county growth policy – our roadmap for the future.  

Park County is changing. If Referendum 1 passes, residents will have fewer tools to steer this change. Without a growth policy, Park County will become whatever developers and people with money want it to become.
